I grew up in athletics. I was a competitive swimmer who thrived on the excitement of pushing my own limits and consistently striving for performance. In recent years, I have fallen out of the training routine admittedly letting work and rehearsal (I'm also an actress) interfere with regular training. Right now, I'm a normal person living a normal life, and that's just not big enough for me. In training for Spartan races in 2011 and hopefully beyond, I hope to become the best possible version of myself, physically and mentally.
Below is a random list of things one MUST know about me, but have nothing to do with anything:
SLOW WALKERS DRIVE ME BONKERS! I cannot stand people who mosey. The streets of New York are not a zoo or botanical gardens. If you insist on walking so slowly that you impede my trek to work, kindly remove yourself from Madison Avenue and transplant yourself into Central Park... and never leave.
The phrase is "I COULDN'T care less." If you "could care less," that means you care. I will correct everyone on this; I don't care who you are.
When I lift a lot of weight, or do anything in the gym for that matter, I grunt atrociously and make inexcusable faces. There's video evidence on this blog.
There is a list of words that I cannot stand, and that I have a physical reaction to, on the top of which is FLAP.
